Penggunaan Media TAKALINTAR pada Materi Perkalian untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika di Kelas IV SD Negeri 50 Banda Aceh

Abstract


This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using TAKALINTAR media in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes in multiplication material in class IV at SD Negeri 50 Banda Aceh. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The subjects of this research were 24 students in class IV-B of SD Negeri 50 Banda Aceh. The research results showed that in cycle I, only 8 students (33%) achieved learning completeness, while 16 other students (67%) had not achieved completeness due to the limitations of TAKALINTAR media which caused a lack of access for students. After improvements were made in cycle II by increasing the number of TAKALINTAR media so that it could be used evenly, learning outcomes increased significantly, with 21 students (87%) achieving completeness, and only 3 students (13%) who had not yet completed it. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of TAKALINTAR media in mathematics learning is effective in improving students' understanding and learning outcomes in multiplication material. This media is able to create a more interactive and interesting learning atmosphere, thereby increasing student motivation and involvement in the learning process.
