ANALISIS KEGAGALAN BENDUNG BRONJONG PANTE CEUREMEN

Abstract

Abstract: The goal of this study to observe the causes of the failure gabion weirs Pante Cereumen West Aceh district. The weir has completed and the damage occurs at the end of maintenance period and it when the river floods. The analysis was conducted based on field observations and hydraulic review. Theoretically, the cause of the failure gabion weirs is large overtopping from the crest weir, it’s exceed the limit value. The condition can collapse gabions steps by the falling water. Heavy sediment loads, especially gravel and stone led to continue abrasion on the gabions can failure to the wire. The wire failure caused rock gabion be destroyed.

Abstrak: Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengamati penyebab kegagalan bendung bronjong Pante Cereumen Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Bendung tersebut baru selesai dikerjakan dan kerusakan terjadi diakhir masa pemeliharaan. Kerusakan terjadi pada saat sungai dalam keadaan banjir. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan data pengamatan lapangan dan tinjauan secara hidrolis. Secara teoritis penyebab kegagalan bendung bronjong disebabkan oleh debit yang melalui mercu sangat lebih besar dari yang dipersyaratkan sehingga “steps” bronjong bisa rusak oleh dampak air yang jatuh. Beban sedimen berat, terutama kerikil dan batu meyebabkan menyebabkan kerusakan pada kawat. Kerusakan kawat menyebabkan batuan bronjong terburai dan bronjong menjadi hancur.
