Efek Variasi Jenis Pasir Terhadap Berat dan Kuat Tekan Beton Ringan Dari Agregat Kasar Ringan Buatan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai efek dari penggunaan campuran antara pasir sungai dan pasir ringan buatan serta pasir ringan buatan yang telah dihaluskan dalam campuran beton yang terbuat dari kerikil ringan buatan. Parameter yang ditinjau adalah adalah berat dan kuat tekan beton. Delapan belas buah benda uji dengan target kuat tekan 15, 28, dan 41 MPa dibuat dan dites pada saat berumur 28 hari. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa beton yang dibuat dengan menggunakan pasir yang merupakan campuran antara pasir sungai dan pasir ringan buatan dapat digolongkan sebagai beton ringan. Demikian juga hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa berat beton yang dibuat dengan menggunakan pasir ringan buatan tanpa dicampur dengan pasir sungai memiliki berat yang jauh lebih ringan dari beton yang terbuat dari campuran antar pasir ringan buatan dengan pasir sungai tetapi memiliki kuat tekan yang hampir menyamai beton yang menggunakan campuran antara pasir ringan buatan dan pasir sungai.
