Jurnal Agripet is an open access and online journal that encompasses a broad range of research topics in animal science and biotechnology including animal physiology and nutrition, feed processing and technology, animal productions, animal genetics, breeding and reproduction, meat and milk sciences, animal health, behavior and welfare, animal housing and livestock farming system.
Jurnal Agripet publishes original research results on animal with focused on farm animals both ruminants and non-ruminants. Studies with other animals besides farm animals also can be considered for publication if the subjects of research areas are still related to farm animal aspects.
Jurnal Agripet is scientific journal and published twice a year (April and October) since 2000. The article published in Jurnal Agripet can be written either in Indonesian or in English. Since April 2016, abstract has to be presented in both languages Indonesian and English.
Jurnal Agripet is a peer reviewed journal published by Animal Husbandry Department, The Faculty of Agriculture, Uniyersitas Syiah Kuala which is indexed or abstracted in: Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ), Google Scholar, Indonesia OneSearch, Garuda Dikti, Indonesian Scientific Journal Database (ISJD), Indonesian Publication Index (IPI), EBSCO Information Services, Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE), OCLC WorldCat and registered in Crossref with Digital Object Identifier (DOI) prefix 10.17969/agripet.
Since September, 26, 2019, Jurnal Agripet has been accredited by Directorate General for Research Strengthening and Development, The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Indonesia based on its Decree No. 28/E/KPT/2019 with The category of SINTA 2. and extended until 2027 based on its Decree No. 152/E/KPT/2023 dated September, 25.2023.
